Assembly Procedure

1. Install spool (11), spring (10), and O-ring seal (9) into valve body (2) .

2. Install O-ring seal (12) .

3. Install cover (8) and bolts (7) onto valve body (2) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury. To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.



4. Install sensor (1) onto valve body (2) .

5. Install plate (4) and bolts (3) .

6. Install elbow (6) and bolts (5) .

End By:
Install the torque converter outlet relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, “Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve – Install”.
